Consolidated Leisure & Sport, (CL&S) are the ABSC Sponsor of Record and have been for many years. The Australian Billiards & Snooker Council, (ABSC) wish to sincerely thank CL&S for its ongoing support of Billiards and Snooker in Australia.

Sponsorship which CL&S provide go a long way towards the administration running costs of the ABSC and the sponsorship of the Pot Black Open Snooker Championships.

The Pot Black Open is played on a rotation basis between states and has been one of the ABSC’s most successful tournaments for many years.

CL&S has been supporting the ABSC since 1988 and contributed over half a million dollars into the development of cue sports.

CL&S have also been instrumental in the development of our juniors by providing funds for the Mitchell Billiards Junior team Challenge and the Mitchell Junior Academy.

Neil Robertson is one of many juniors who progressed through the Academy with many other noted players high on the ABSC ranking list today.

The Mitchell Billiards Academy is held each year during the state teams challenge and junior National championships. The academy assists players both with technique and mental attitude.

The National Junior Development Officer is on hand & supported by nationally accredited coaches along with a sports psychologist.

CL&S are distributors of Strachan Cloth, Aramith Pro Cup Billiard balls as well as 1G Snooker balls and an extensive range of cues and tips.
